About Sentry FCU
Sentry’s roots go back to 1969 when we began providing financial services for Scott Paper employees. In 1998, the National Credit Union Association (NCUA) awarded us a new charter, which included the entire community of Delaware County. Since then, the Sentry team has served over 10,000 members and has provided progressive products and responsive service to its membership.
Credit Unions vs. Banks
A credit union is a not-for-profit financial institution that provides financial services and products to a group of people with a common bond. Every credit union member is also an owner of the credit union regardless of his or her balance.
The not for profit status allows credit unions to generally provide higher rates on deposit products, lower rates on loan products and the most current account services available.
